Immunization & Malnutrition

In India more than two million children die every year from preventable infectious diseases. They continue to lose their lives to vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles, which remains the biggest killer.

Saathiya Foundation with the mission to improve children's health through better access to Immunization reaching out to underprivileged in remotest areas for providing comprehensive cover to children between 0-12 years of age against deadly diseases (BCG, DPT, MMR, Measles, Hepatitis B and Typhoid).

To bring about a reduction in acute malnutrition in children 0 - 36 months of age by 25% after improving the Infant and Young Child Feeding practices, Promotion of Immunization, addressing illnesses, and uptake of Integrated Child Development Services.
